A born + raised Southern Californian, Summer grew up spending her days at the beach, vacationing in the Arizona desert + creating for as long as she can remember. After learning to sew at the age of 10, she has gone on to study fashion design, photography + visual arts. In the Summer of 2015, Summer started her own brand, Summer Vega, and opened her first shop in Mojave Flea Palm Springs in January of 2021.

At the core of everything Summer creates + offers in her shops is her love for vintage, handmade + travel. Collecting vintage since the age of 17, she has developed an eye for beautiful found treasures with unique stories to tell.

An avid traveler, she has been to 25 countries, continually seeking to connect with Artisans globally, collecting handmade + vintage treasures along the way. You’ll find her Collections in her shop in Mojave Flea Palm Springs + in the online shop. Her creations and collections reflect the places she’s visited + who she is as an Artist, sharing the beauty she sees in the world.

Summer is guided by her creative, passionate spirit in all she does, continually curious about culture, food, art + human connection. She loves to connect, support + work with fellow Artists + small business Owners, offering a range of Creative Services for fellow creatives.

With a background in merchandising and design, Summer has a degree in Visual Communications and has worked for Anthropologie, independent boutiques, the LAB, LLC in Costa Mesa, California, and has now had her own brand for 9 years.

She currently spends her time in Palm Springs + Laguna Beach, California with her mini-doodle rescue, Polly.
